Program Manager - Complex Early Engagements (HPE GreenLake)
This role has been designed as 'Hybrid' with an expectation that you will work on average 2 days per week from an HPE office.
Job Description:Job Family Definition:Leads customer engagements across the lifecycle, from presales to delivery handoff, ensuring alignment to scope, time, budget, and quality expectations. Responsible for planning, shaping, and managing delivery strategies, risk reporting, and coordinating internal and external stakeholders.
Management Level Definition:Operates as a leader of high-risk, high-value, multi-workstream global engagements. Provides leadership across cross-functional teams, driving governance, delivery strategy, and execution alignment in complex environments.
Responsibilities: - Lead engagement during presales and transition to execution
- Shape and validate scope, timelines, and resource models
- Partner with Supply Chain, Sales, Engineering, Delivery, and Solution Architects
- Ensure governance and seamless handover from pursuit to delivery
- Lead global cross-functional teams
- Identify and mitigate risks and dependencies
- Drive input into SoW, pricing, and cost models
- Establish executive-level stakeholder relationships
Education and Experience Required- Master's degree preferred
- 10 years of project management experience or within like roles
- PMP Certification
- Comfortable use of Smartsheet, Jira, MS Project and Salesforce.com
Knowledge and Skills: - Thorough understanding of GreenLake products
- Expertise in presales, deal shaping, and delivery lifecycle
- Financial and commercial acumen
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Ability to operate in complex global environments
- Excellent presentation skills in front of 10-20 attendees
- Advanced communication and problem-solving skills
