Summary

You will serve as a PROGRAM MANAGER in the Commander Navy Installation Command (CNIC) of COMMANDER - NAVAL INSTALLATIONS.

Duties

Help

  • You will manage project/program requirements, objectives, and metrics, and resolves conflicts among schedules, funding, and resources.
  • You will collect data and use it to generate reports on work volume and projected staffing needs.
  • You will provide direction and guidance for the development, acquisition, evaluation, improvement, and sustainment of the Navy Wounded Warrior program and initiatives.
  • You will establish long-range, intermediate, and short-range plans; allocate/identify resources; and provide a reports and evaluation system to determine program effectiveness.
  • You will assign work based on shifting priorities, evaluate employee performance, and keep employees informed of management and personnel policies.


Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Experience leading, managing, and administering comprehensive, agency-wide programs (such as wounded warrior or complex medical/readiness support systems) that align with broad organizational missions; 2) Managing multi-million dollar budgets or contracts to ensure funding execution aligns with program goals; 3) Negotiating and coordinating with installation stakeholders to ensure program priorities are considered; 4) Evaluating employee performance, recommend appropriate incentives, initiate corrective actions, assure safety practices, and keep employees informed of management and personnel policies.
