Job Title: Program Manager

Department: EDU

Location: BILT - Global Brand Support Center, Grapevine, Texas 76051

Overview

We are seeking a qualified individual to join our team as a Program Manger. Due to the requirements of our government contract, this position requires U.S. citizenship.

Experience

Candidate must have experience with:
  • Direct customer facing role(s) (internal and external customers)
  • Managing large, diverse teams (including technology related projects or programs)
  • Creating, implementing, and managing project management systems to accomplish program and organizational goals
  • Liaising with executive leaders in matters including strategizing, planning, management, and reporting
  • Managing both waterfall (including iterative waterfall) and agile project management frameworks


Skills

Candidate should proficiently be able to:
  • Effectively manage large scale strategy and scope while being able to understand front line delivery of business and technology project work
  • Clearly define areas of responsibility and hold team members accountable for their contributions to the project/program
  • Manage several efforts using disparate management systems with the ability to collate into common reporting structure
  • Proactively manage scope, budget, and invoicing
  • Forward think about customer strategy and assist with the Sales and or Account Management efforts to see those larger scale strategies to fruition
  • Lead through times of ambiguity and uncertainty
  • Think with a systems approach; do not simply tackle repetitive issues, look for ways to systemically irradicate issues solvable with effective process
  • Manage risk; identify areas that contain risk (positive or negative) and disposition them with proper risk mitigation techniques (e.g., Avoid, Reduce, Transfer, Accept)
  • Travel to client sites expectancy about 20%


Education

While not required, sound application from the following educational background may be considered beneficial:
  • Undergraduate degree in business or technology related area of study
  • Advanced degree in business or technology related area of study
  • Certification in Project Management related discipline (e.g., Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM), Project Management Professional (PMP))
  • Certification in Technology related discipline (e.g., Certified Scrum Master (CSM))


Qualifications
• U.S. citizenship is required due to government contract stipulations

Work Environment
• This role is based at BILT's Global Brand Support Center in Grapevine, Texas, near DFW Airport and Southlake Town Square.
• Routine use of standard office equipment (computers, tablets, phones, email, and Microsoft Teams).
• Physical demands include prolonged computer use and occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds.
• Office hours: 8:30 AM-5:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with convenient parking and nearby amenities.
