Full Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated Project Manager (PM) position to support our ACC A/5/8/9 customer on Langley AFB, VA. The Project Manager (PM) is the lead authority responsible for planning, coordinating, executing, and overseeing all activities under the Task Order (TO). This role ensures full compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) requirements, preserves the non-personal services nature of the contract, and maintains effective communication between contractor personnel and Government stakeholders. The PM ensures all deliverables, meetings, reports, and project artifacts are accurate, timely, and aligned with Government expectations.

Responsibilities

Project Leadership & Coordination
  • Maintain close coordination with the GSA Project Manager, Contracting Officer (CO) and Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) and report issues promptly.
  • Provide strategic leadership across all project activities, ensuring alignment with ACC mission objectives, contract requirements, and organizational priorities.
  • Plan, organize, and direct project workflows, establishing clear milestones, deliverables, and performance expectations for internal teams and subcontractors.
  • Lead cross-functional project teams by setting direction, assigning responsibilities, and fostering a collaborative environment that supports high-quality, on-time execution.
  • Coordinate project activities with government counterparts, ensuring synchronization with ACC schedules, battle rhythms, and decision cycles.
  • Develop and maintain integrated project plans, including schedules, risk registers, staffing plans, and resource allocation strategies.
  • Monitor project performance through metrics, status reviews, and progress assessments, identifying variances and implementing corrective actions when needed.
  • Facilitate effective communication among team members, leadership, and customer stakeholders, ensuring shared understanding of priorities, constraints, and timelines.
  • Lead recurring project meetings, including internal stand-ups, customer syncs, technical exchanges, and formal program reviews, ensuring actionable outcomes and follow-through.
  • Drive issue resolution by identifying obstacles early, coordinating with technical and functional experts, and escalating appropriately to maintain project momentum.
  • Promote a culture of accountability and continuous improvement, encouraging team members to identify efficiencies, reduce risk, and enhance mission value.
  • Coordinate with corporate leadership to align staffing, resources, and corporate support functions with project needs and customer expectations.


Customer Relationship Management Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary interface between the company and ACC stakeholders, maintaining trusted, professional relationships across all ranks-from action officers to senior leadership.
  • Engage routinely with government counterparts to understand mission priorities, operational constraints, and evolving requirements, ensuring program activities remain aligned with ACC objectives.
  • Facilitate transparent communication by providing timely updates, briefings, and decision-quality information to customer leadership, enabling informed choices and mission-focused outcomes.
  • Represent the company with professionalism and credibility in all customer interactions, reinforcing confidence in program execution, contract performance, and organizational integrity.
  • Manage expectations and resolve issues by identifying concerns early, coordinating internal resources, and driving solutions that maintain customer satisfaction and mission continuity.
  • Strengthen long-term relationships through consistent engagement, responsiveness, and a deep understanding of ACC culture, processes, and decision-making structures.
  • Maintain situational awareness of all program activities impacting the customer, ensuring alignment with contract requirements, performance metrics, and ACC mission priorities.


Deliverables Management
  • Prepare and submit Monthly Status Reports (MSRs)
  • Develop, maintain, and annually update the Project Management Plan (PMP),
  • Prepare and submit Travel Requests and Trip Reports
  • Develop and maintain the Quality Control Plan (QCP
  • Prepare and submit the Quality Management Plan (QMP)
  • Submit Quarterly Lapse Rate & Turnover Reports
  • Submit Hiring Status Reports / Personnel
  • Ensure submission of Qualifications Checklists
  • Ensure accurate and timely submission of invoices in GSA ASSIST, including documentation for labor, travel, and ODCs.
  • Support contract closeout deliverables, including badge/PIV return reports and Release of Claims.

  • Familiarity with Government security requirements, CAC processes, and facility access procedures


Schedule
  • Core hours are from 0800-1700 M-F - you can work with your customer leadership to set hours
  • You can flex time during the 2 week pay cycle - avoid using PTO for appointments
  • A compressed work schedule may be available at the discretion of work center leadership (i.e. 4/10 or 9/80)
