Job Description:Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented
Construction Systems Integration Manager to join our team! In this role you will get to
lead construction and systems integration activities for an exciting radio and cellular infrastructure project.What You'll Be Doing:- Lead and manage construction, integration, and commissioning activities for below ground sites and systems, ensuring alignment with project schedules, technical requirements, and operational constraints.
- Serve as the primary field authority for systems integration, coordinating across radio, fiber, IT, and existing WMATA infrastructure to ensure full system functionality and readiness
- Manage and drive Contractor performance, including schedule development, progress tracking, field coordination, and accountability for delivery of assigned scope
- Coordinate and oversee system activation, deactivation, testing, and cutover activities, including support for nighttime and off-hours operations
- Diagnose and resolve complex field and system integration issues, including fiber connectivity, SFP performance, network configuration, RF equipment functionality, and interface with existing systems
- Ensure that below ground systems are constructed, integrated, and commissioned within schedule and in coordination with Engineering, WMATA IT, subject matter experts, and stakeholders to minimize operational impacts
- Review inspection, testing, and commissioning procedures for conformance with established processes and ensure proper execution in the field
- Maintain and monitor project performance against established KPIs, including construction progress, system readiness, and integration milestones, and provide detailed reporting to management
- Prepare project-related correspondence to consultants, contractors, Authority officials, and other agencies, including progress reports, issue logs, risk assessments, and recommendations
- Support and assist the project Safety Manager and Quality Manager in enforcement of safety and quality compliance across construction and integration activities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Contractor and WMATA personnel to resolve construction and integration issues and provide real-time technical direction
- Lead coordination of multi-disciplinary teams to achieve Safety Certification and operational readiness of all assigned systems
- Develop and maintain project trackers and system integration status reports for equipment, configuration, and commissioning progress
- Provide training, guidance, and technical support to field personnel and maintenance teams for installed systems
- Timely review and detailed feedback on all Contractor submittals at the 35%, 65%, 95%, IFC, and As-Built levels; respond to or assign responsibility for RFIs; review transmittals for accuracy, completeness, and integration impacts
- Timely review and detailed evaluation of change order documents, including requests for equitable adjustment, scopes of work, and cost estimates; support development of negotiation position
- Coordination and participation in site walks and surveys to ensure Contractor and Authority personnel have required information to complete work in accordance with contract requirements; validate integration readiness during field reviews
- Track, manage, and report on construction progress, system integration status, and project delays in detail
- Lead and support system testing, activation, commissioning, and cutover activities, ensuring full documentation and operational readiness
- Review all applicable contract deliverables and certifiable items for compliance with contract specifications, system performance requirements, and integration standards
- Preparation and submittal of bi-weekly project reports and detailed system integration status updates
- Review plans and specifications for constructability and integration; coordinate with WMATA offices and consultants to resolve design conflicts and support required modifications
- Review and recommend approval of contractor payment requests based on verified work completion, system readiness, and compliance with project procedures and funding requirements
- Support Asset Management efforts in tracking and reporting all installed system components, including communications, fiber, and network infrastructure assets
What Required Skills You'll Bring:- Bachelors degree in Engineering or related field
- 15+ years related work experience
- Radio and Fiber installation and oversight experience
- 5+ years experience in Construction management
- Quality control and planning experience
- Systems integration expertise
- Field inspection and testing background
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:- Masters degree in Engineering or related field
- Professional Engineer certification in DMV

Salary Range: $148,300.00 - $266,900.00
