Program Manager 2 – Brand Partnerships

The NMG Brand Partnerships, Program Manager 2 role supports the broader work of the Brand Partnership team, spanning the Designated Selling Associate (DSA) program, unowned inventory program (supporting hybrid and concession partnerships), and other strategic NMG partnerships.  This role will initially focus on leading the DSA program, with responsibilities evolving to support the broader business. This role requires a highly resourceful self-starter with an understanding of how to drive efficiencies, work with and influence cross functional partners, and deliver program excellence at scale. This individual has a unique blend of strategic, analytic and collaboration skills with demonstrated experience in taking ideas from vision to execution, blending relationship management, program management, problem-solving skills, and the ability to drive to aligned outcomes. This role requires an individual comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, dealing with ambiguity, engaging stakeholders in a productive, positive way and setting the course for the business to help drive growth for Nordstrom.

A Day in the Life…

  • Continue to support the DSA program while progressively expanding focus to broader partnership support across Hybrid, Concession, and other strategic partnerships.
  • Progress the DSA program strategy, including measuring the effectiveness of the program, setting expansion criteria, and analyzing ongoing performance management.
  • Responsible for cross-functional management and execution of the Designated Selling Associate (DSA) program activities, including but not limited to: tracking all open and filled DSA roles, and facilitating timely communication and decision making across HR, Stores, Brands, and Merchant Teams.
  • Partner with Brand Partnership Leads to support partnership readiness and brand support across the Unowned Inventory portfolio.
  • Support contract management and governance for DSA program and unowned model partnerships, including drafting, tracking, and maintaining agreements to ensure compliance with program standards.
  • Conduct business analytics to evaluate partnership and program performance, surfacing insights and recommendations that inform strategic decisions.
  • Manage loyalty, selling, and animal welfare policies related to unowned models, partnering with cross-functional teams to evaluate, enforce compliance and drive communication across partnerships.
  • Prepare compelling materials to communicate complex information clearly and simply to drive action spanning across both the DSA and Unowned Inventory Program.
  • Drive productive, well-prepared meetings with clear agendas and ensure follow-up and accountability measures are in place.
  • Leverage AI tools to accelerate program work and continuously identify new opportunities to apply AI to improve program efficiency and scale.

  • 2-5 years of relevant work experience in business operations, retail, or project / program management
  • Experience in retail merchandising, retail management, or brand partnerships preferred
  • Strong and effective written and verbal communication across a range of audiences
  • Ability to navigate through ambiguity
  • Problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify, research, and analyze problems
  • Ability to collect data, analyze, and summarize conclusions
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, Excel (pivots and data analysis), SharePoint and Confluence
  • Familiarity with AI productivity tools such as Claude, with the ability to apply them to draft and summarize documents, analyze data, and streamline program workflows
  • 4-year degree in related field preferred or equivalent experience

Pay Range Details

The pay range(s) below has been provided in compliance with state specific laws. Pay ranges may be different for other locations. 
Pay offers are dependent on the location, as well as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

$93,500.00 - $155,000.00 Annual
