This role partners across Facilities, Store Development, Operations, and suppliers to develop scalable solutions that improve reliability, partner experience, store performance, and long-term asset value.
As a facilities standards lead, Programs, you will...
- Develop and lead enterprise standards, lifecycle strategies, and maintenance programs across equipment, building systems, hard services, and soft services.
- Analyze performance, reliability, utilization, and cost trends to identify opportunities that improve asset performance and reduce total cost of ownership.
- Partner with cross functional teams to evaluate new technologies, services, and operating models that enhance the Starbucks store environment and partner experience.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives and strategic programs that drive operational efficiency, risk reduction, sustainability, and cost savings across the retail portfolio.
- Serve as a trusted subject matter expert and advisor on facilities standards, service strategies, asset management, and maintenance optimization.
- Communicate insights, recommendations, and program outcomes to leaders at all levels of the organization and influence decisions through data-driven storytelling.
- Develop guidance, documentation, and implementation strategies that enable consistent execution across facilities teams, suppliers, and business partners.
- Mentor and coach team members while helping build organizational capability in facilities programs, standards, and asset management.
We'd love to hear from people with:
- High school diploma/GED, US military service or equivalent experience required
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in facilities management, asset management, operations, engineering, maintenance programs, or related fields
- Minimum of 5 years of experience developing and implementing enterprise programs, standards, or operational strategies
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in data analysis and business analytics with the ability to evaluate complex data and translate findings into actionable recommendations
- Experience managing cross functional projects and influencing stakeholders across multiple organizations
- Demonstrated ability to solve complex business and operational challenges with limited direction
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present
- Experience working with facilities systems, maintenance programs, supplier management, or asset lifecycle planning
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with operational execution in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated experience applying AI tools and agents to program management work, such as automating reporting, accelerating data analysis, drafting documentation, or streamlining cross functional coordination, with a track record of sharing those practices to scale team capability.

*If you are working in CA, CO, IL, LA, ME, MA, NE, ND or RI, you will accrue vacation up to a maximum of 120 hours (190 in CA) for roles below director and 200 hours (316 in CA) for roles at director or above. For roles in other states, you will be granted vacation time starting at 120 hours annually for roles below director and 200 hours annually for roles director and above.
The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity. At Starbucks, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
