About the Role

The Program Director serves as the operational leader of the Wound Healing Institute of Arcadia, overseeing all aspects of daily clinic operations, staff management, regulatory compliance, financial performance, and hospital collaboration.

Reporting directly to the CEO of Innovative Healing Systems and designated hospital leadership, this role ensures that the program consistently meets organizational goals for quality, safety, patient experience, growth, and financial performance.
What You'll Do
Data, Reporting & Performance Improvement
  • Analyze key performance indicators including volume, outcomes, access, conversion rates, and financial metrics
  • Prepare reports and statistical analyses for senior leadership and hospital partners
  • Drive quality improvement initiatives that enhance clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation, billing support, and reporting
Hospital Partnership & Financial Stewardship
  • Serve as the primary operational liaison between the clinic and hospital leadership
  • Participate in hospital management meetings and leadership initiatives
  • Assist in annual budget development and financial management
  • Identify performance variances and develop recovery plans
  • Support coding, billing, authorization, and denial management processes
Leadership & Team Development
  • Recruit, hire, train, mentor, and evaluate program staff
  • Foster a high-performance culture focused on patient outcomes and teamwork
  • Conduct meaningful performance evaluations aligned with departmental goals
  • Ensure appropriate staffing and resource utilization
  • Lead staff engagement, development, and accountability initiatives
Operational Excellence
  • Direct daily clinic operations to ensure safe, efficient patient care
  • Improve patient access, throughput, and conversion rates
  • Coordinate staffing schedules and maintain payroll/timekeeping accuracy
  • Collaborate with clinical leadership to optimize operational workflows
  • Ensure all equipment and supplies are maintained and available
Regulatory & Safety Oversight
  • Maintain ongoing survey readiness for Joint Commission, DNV, UHMS, and other regulatory reviews
  • Ensure compliance with hospital, safety, infection prevention, and accreditation standards
  • Partner with the Hyperbaric Safety Director to maintain a safe treatment environment
  • Lead policy implementation and compliance monitoring efforts
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Business, or a related healthcare field (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum of 2 years of healthcare management experience driving financial success
  • Strong understanding of healthcare operations, budgeting, staffing, and performance management
  • Knowledge of insurance authorizations, medical terminology, billing, and coding practices
  • Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
  • Experience in wound care and/or hyperbaric medicine environment
  • Outpatient clinic leadership experience
  • Prior responsibility for budget planning and implementation
  • Experience working collaboratively with physicians and hospital administration
  • Accreditation and regulatory survey readiness experience
