Role Overview
The Delivery Lead is a strategic senior leader who serves as a coach mentor facilitator and change agent empowering teams to consistently deliver high-quality products and services This role guides teams through agile principles delivery best practices and alignment with organizational objectives to drive predictable and effective outcomes
The Delivery Lead is accountable for ensuring strong alignment between team delivery practices and broader organizational goals They represent the team in leadership forums providing clear status updates surfacing risks and impediments, and partnering with leadership to forecast delivery
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
10 years of overall experience in software engineering preferably in healthcare
5 years of hands-on experience in managing delivery teams
In-depth knowledge of agile tools such as Rally JIRA preferably with Rally experience
In-depth experience with Kanban Scrum and Scaled Agile frameworks
Knowledge of the Software System Development Life Cycle
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent presentation and relationship skills
Leadership direction and coaching skills to encourage the adoption of good agile practices
Experience in providing agile practice leadership and education to the organization
Ability to influence leadership and management teams on agile principles practices and tools
Experience in facilitating management of the Scrum Team's dependencies
Experience in driving release management for agile teams
Project Management support skills for Business Partner projects
Ability to lead projects by collaborating with enterprise and/or external teams
Ability to help teams develop and implement practices and metrics for continuous improvement
Analytical and investigative skills to provide explanations and interpretations within the area of expertise
Required AI Skills
All contractor resources are expected to demonstrate baseline proficiency in enterprise approved AI tools as part of their day-to-day responsibilities This includes but is not limited to
Consistent Use Maintain a minimum of 90% weekly usage of AI tools such as GitHub Copilot Microsoft 365 Copilot, and other GenAI platforms approved by the enterprise
Continuous Learning: Stay current with evolving AI capabilities and features and apply them to improve delivery quality and velocity
