• 15+ years of progressive IT leadership experience.

• 5+ years within electric, gas, water, energy, or utility industries.
• Proven track record managing multimillion-dollar technology portfolios.
• Experience leading digital transformation, cloud migration, and enterprise modernization initiatives.
• Experience with AI-enabled Operations and Predictive Analytics
Roles & Responsibilities
• Define and execute the IT strategy aligned with utility business objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Develop multi-year technology roadmaps supporting Grid Modernization, Customer Experience, Asset Management, and Digital Transformation initiatives.
• Identify emerging technologies (AI, Cloud, Automation, Advanced Analytics) that drive operational efficiency and business value.
• Lead, mentor, and develop program managers, project managers, architects, and technology leaders.
• Build a high-performing delivery organization focused on innovation and continuous improvement.
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and customer-centricity.
• Support talent acquisition, succession planning, and workforce capability development.
• Lead a portfolio of large-scale IT programs and projects across utility operations and corporate functions.
• Establish program governance, delivery frameworks, financial controls, and reporting mechanisms.
• Manage program scope, schedule, budget, resources, risks, dependencies, and benefits realization.
• Ensure successful execution of strategic initiatives from business case through implementation.

o Customer Information Systems (CIS)
o Meter-to-Cash platforms
o Outage Management Systems (OMS)
o Distribution Management Systems (DMS)
o GIS and Asset Management Systems
o Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI)

Generic Managerial Skills, If any
• Build strong relationships with utility executives, business leaders, regulators, and external partners.
• Present program status, risks, financials, and strategic recommendations to executive steering committees.
• Facilitate cross-functional collabo ration among IT, Operations, Engineering, Customer Service, and Field organizations.
• Manage executive communications and decision-making forums.
Salary Range: $140,000 -$165,000 year
