125,000.00 - 145,000.00 USD Per Year

Redwood City: Mental Health Rehabilitation Center (In-person position)
Working Hours/Shift:
FT, Monday-Friday, AM shift but may vary depending on the Program needs
What you bring to SBHG (qualifications):
Education: Must meet one of the following criteria:
- Master's degree in a social science fieldOR
- Bachelor99s degree in nursing along with valid licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Graduation from an accredited school of Licensed Vocational Nursing (LVN) or Psychiatric Technology (LPT).
Experience:
- At least eight (8) years of experience in the behavioral health field, including a minimum of two (2) years in a leadership capacity.
- Proven experience in program development for individuals with severe and persistent mental illness.
License or Certification:
- Clinical/Mental Health: BBS licensure as an LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, or Psychologist with the eligibility to provide clinical supervision is preferred.
- Nursing Alternative: Candidates without a master99s degree in a social science field must hold a valid California license as a Registered Nurse (RN), Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN), or Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT).
Driver Requirements:A valid California Driver99s License and current automobile insurance, with a driving record that consistently meets the agency99s eligibility policy.
How you will make a difference (job overview):
The Program Directorhas primaryresponsibility forclinical and operationaloversight of theMentalHealthRehabilitation Center (MHRC).Responsible for ensuringadherence to licensing/oversight regulations and company policies.
Division/Program Overview:
- MHRC is a 16 bed, inpatient program that provides intensive support and rehabilitative services.
- The individuals served are 18-64 years old with mental health struggles that have necessitated placement in a state hospital or other intensive behavioral health facility.
- Comprehensive behavioral health and psychiatric services are provided by a multidisciplinary team.
- The team supports individuals in developing the skills to become self- sufficient and increase levels of independence and functioning.
