Job Summary:
The Program Director Information Technology will sit within the IT Project Management Office (IT PMO) and will be responsible for leadership and/or technical oversight of an assigned Information Technology (IT) segment within the organization. Responsible for creating and rolling out policies and procedures associated with assigned IT segment. Will act as point of contact and full accountability for a high degree of redundancy and reliability of assigned IT segment.

Job Duties:
  • Identifies best practices for service offerings of IT segment.
  • Maintains in-depth knowledge of departmental workflows.
  • Responsible for vendor management, which includes but is not limited to, contract negotiations, invoice reconciliation, release updates, issues lists and new product evaluations.
  • Reviews work of lower level personnel to ensure satisfaction of service offerings.
  • Performs personnel review and evaluation function for salary administration, training and promotion.
  • Prepares periodic budget and adherence for the department.
  • Monitors compliance with Information Systems procedures and policies and reports findings to IT leadership.
  • Presents issues and concerns to IT leadership along with potential solutions when appropriate.
  • Works with departmental and division management to develop and implement Information Technology strategies.
  • Establish and monitor operational KPIs, including productivity standards.
  • Develops and administers IT budget for responsible area.
  • Practices fiscally sound budget management to ensure spending is held to allocated funds.
