Defines and implements the portfolio / product strategy for data analytics and AI that support business objectives. Partners with designers, data engineers, data scientists and agile development teams to define and deliver products with a focus on user experience.   • Collaborates across BMO to develop communications strategies and ensure consistency of messaging, in order to positively influence or change behaviour.
  • Leads the execution of operational programs; assesses and adapts as needed to ensure quality of execution.
  • Oversees the design, development, and implementation of tools and training required to deliver business results.
  • Leads/oversees the management of vendor relationships and provides guidelines for execution; ensures that all agreements are met as per requirements.
  • Leads/supports contract negotiations with vendors, balancing cost, risk and performance.
  • Sets policies for product portfolio.

    Qualifications:
  • Typically 9+ years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Knowledge of and/or skill in using analytical software tools, UX/UI, data analysis methods and reporting techniques.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate business problems into product requirements, launching a new product and defining the product roadmap & strategy.
  • Hands-on Experience in some or all of Hadoop, Python, R, Visualization tools, Graph Analytics (Dataiku, Spotfire, PowerBI, neo4j, Linkurious) - preferred.
  • Seasoned expert with extensive industry knowledge.
  • Technical leader viewed as a thought leader for innovation.

Salary:

$121,600.00 - $211,800.00

Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group's expected target for the first year in this position.
