DescriptionHours: This is an exempt, salaried position. Work schedule is Sunday - Monday, 8am -6pm; Tuesday-Wednesday 2pm -12am. Must be available for consultation and program coverage when designated as on call. This is an on-site position and requires in-person attendance to perform the essential functions of the job.
Salary: $87,000 - 87,870 per year
As a Residential Program Coordinator, you will:- Support the Program Director and Assistant Program Director with the responsibilities of managing many aspects of the regular program operations.
- Provide therapeutic interventions to clients in individual and group modalities in a timely and professional manner,
- Provide supervision and manage performance of all assigned staff. Review client service time metrics to ensure staff are meeting targets and beds are filled in accordance with County contract.
- Direct program operations in the absence of other program leadership; acts as admission coordinator and team lead.
- Direct and monitor client care by overseeing referrals, assessments, ongoing counseling and medication.

RequirementsEducation: Masters degree in a mental health-related field such as Psychology, Social Work, or Counseling required
Licensure: Licensed-eligible or registered with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) or Waivered Psychologist required.
Credentialing: If you are applying to this position as a Licensed, Registered, Waivered, or Certified professional and are offered the position, you will be required to complete the credentialing process. Additional information will be provided at the post-offer stage.
Additional Qualifications and Skills- Experience working with persistent mental illness and co-occurring disorders required
- CPR/First Aid certification is required and must be kept current during employment
- Supervisory experience in a crisis center is strongly preferred
- Demonstrated leadership skills in a clinical environment
- Ability to maintain calm demeanor in crisis situations is essential
- Strong communication skills, ability to multi-task and have keen attention to detail are necessary
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, specifically Word, Outlook, and Excel
- This program is housed in a two-story building that does not have an elevator. Ability to navigate stairs is required.
