Job DescriptionWorking as a Program Controls Analyst at BAE Systems Inc. is an exciting opportunity to become part of a high-tech team of people developing innovative products for the Aerospace and Defense industry. You will be responsible for cost and schedule integration on programs in the Space Systems. Tasks are performed under the general direction of program managers and functional managers, plus mentorship from senior Program Controls staff.
What You'll Do:- Support the Program Controls functions on aerospace programs within Space Systems.
- Generate financial reporting packages across several program portfolios.
- Baseline development and maintenance, performance management and estimate at complete development and analysis.
- Implement, monitor, report and analyze program budget and/or schedule.
- Perform earned value management including implementation, maintenance, reporting and analysis.
- Organize cost and/or schedule data for monthly/quarterly program reviews.
- Prepare and monitor funding plans and labor forecast plans.
- Compile and analyze Sales Forecast data and cost estimating data.
- Prepare ETC/EAC estimates from program staff input.
- Generate cost proposals in accordance with company processes, policies, and government regulations.
- Participates in presentations and group discussions at internal and external financial/schedule meetings.
- Maintain a regular and predictable work schedule.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships within the department, the Strategic Business Units, Strategic Capabilities Units and the Company. Interact appropriately with others in order to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
- Perform other duties as necessary.
On-Site Work Environment: This position requires regular in-person engagement by working
on-site five days each normally scheduled week in the primary work location. Travel and local commute between company campuses and other possible non-company locations may be required.
Working Conditions: - Work is performed in an office environment, laboratory, cleanroom, or production floor.
Required Skills and Education- Bachelor's degree in a related field plus 2 or more years of related experience.
- Requires knowledge and proven experience in utilizing business principles, concepts, practices, and standards.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Able to work in a team setting, coordinating group initiatives in order to bring a project to completion.
- Have a positive attitude and be willing to take initiative.
- Solid MS Excel skills, along with other MS Office Products.

A security clearance or access with Polygraph is not required to be eligible for this position. However, the applicant must be willing and eligible for submission, depending on program requirements, after an offer is accepted and must be able to maintain the applicable clearance/access.
Preferred Skills and Education- Current TS/SCI clearance is highly preferred.
- Experience in Defense Contract/Government contracting.
- Experience with earned value management/EVMS programs, Integrated Baseline Review, Budget/Financial funds forecasting.
