VPU Context:The World Bank Group's (WBG) Ethics and Internal Justice Services Vice Presidency (EIJ) brings together, under a single umbrella, the WBG's approach to values, ethics and the resolution of workplace conflict. Unit Context: EIJ is seeking to recruit an Ethics & Compliance Learning Experience Associate to work in its Advisory, Training & Values Unit (ATV), and who will report to the Manager. ATV promotes development and application of ethical standards by all WBG staff. Custodian of the WBG Core Values and Code of Ethics, ATV provides advice, instruction and guidance on compliance with the Staff Rules and on ethical behaviors and conducts training and outreach for all WBG staff.
Duties and accountabilities: • Lead the development and enhancement of innovative learning experiences, including micro-learning, scenario-based content, and interactive digital formats.
• Produce and edit learning media assets (e.g., infographics, short videos, visual job aids), ensuring high-quality design, clarity, and consistency across products.
• Translate technical ethics and compliance content into structured learning components, in consultation with subject matter experts, suitable for digital, facilitator-led, and self-paced formats.
• Apply instructional design principles (e.g., learning objectives alignment, adult learning techniques) to refine and structure ethics and compliance learning materials.
• Support the preparation and delivery of co-design workshops with practitioners, including synthesizing inputs into structured learning content and materials.
• Maintain and update training materials to reflect the latest policies, Staff Directives, and agreed instructional frameworks.
• Develop and standardize facilitator support materials, ensuring alignment with instructional design approaches and learning outcomes.
• Design and administer structured survey instruments and contribute to learning analytics by synthesizing participant feedback into actionable summaries.
• Support quality assurance of learning products, including reviewing content for instructional coherence, usability, and accessibility.
• Schedule and prepare client meetings for training engagements and operational travel; capture objectives and requirements, administer training needs surveys, and tailor learning content and materials accordingly.
• Conduct applied research on emerging learning technologies and methods (including AI-enabled learning tools) and translate findings into practical inputs for content development.
Selection Criteria
- Bachelor'sor Master's degree with 2 years of experience or equivalent combination ofeducation and experience.
- 2-4 years of hands-on experience in digital learning development or content production.
- Design tools: Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Canva, Procreate (or similar).
- Video/animation: Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Vyond (or similar).
- Project and workflow tools: MS Planner or similar task management tools.
- Data/analytics: Tableau, Power BI, advanced Excel.
- Web/content tools: WordPress or similar platforms.
- Experience developing interactive learning content (scenario-based modules, branching, knowledge checks).
- Ability to translate policy or technical content into structured learning assets in consultation with subject matter experts.
