Summary

You will serve as a PROGRAM ANALYST in the GENERAL FUND BUSINESS OFFICE DIVISION, FINANCIAL SYSTEMS DEPARTMENT, COMPTROLLER GROUP of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV.

Duties

Help

  • You will provide enterprise resource planning system support for acquisition and logistics, workforce management, organizational management, personnel administration, master data, interfaces, and reporting.
  • You will perform functional and analytical duties within one or more assigned enterprise resource planning modules or business-process areas and coordinates related work efforts across functional teams.
  • You will develop, review, and update standard operating procedures, customer job aids, training materials, and other user reference documentation to reflect current system functionality, policies, and business processes.
  • You will coordinate with customers and other stakeholders to analyze business and system issues, develop recommendations, and support successful resolution.
  • You will utilize independent judgment and analytical decision-making by selecting appropriate analytical approaches, and developing procedures or recommendations where guidance is limited, conflicting, or not directly applicable.
  • You will prepare technical documentation, present analytical findings, communicate system changes, and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • You will interpret and apply applicable policies, procedures, regulations, and system guidance when analyzing issues and developing recommendations or corrective actions.

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.


Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-9/10) grade level or (DA-03) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience includes:

  1. applying analytical and evaluative methods to assess business processes, system operations, management controls, and organizational effectiveness;
  2. supporting Enterprise Resource Planning systems such as SAP across one or more functional areas, including financial management, acquisition and logistics, workforce management, user management, organizational management, structural authorizations, master data, system interfaces, or reporting;
  3. performing complex data analysis, data validation, reconciliations, system testing, and root cause analysis to identify and resolve issues affecting system functionality, data integrity, operational effectiveness, or compliance;
  4. managing or resolving system incidents, trouble tickets, defects, transactional errors, or business process issues in coordination with functional specialists, technical personnel, contractors, customers, and external interface partners;
  5. evaluating business processes and recommending improvements to work methods, internal controls, system functionality, customer support, or the distribution and execution of work;
  6. supporting system changes, upgrades, patches, implementations, or other functional enhancements, including developing or validating requirements, documenting test results, and communicating operational impacts.

In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:

Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree

or

3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree

or

LL.M., if related
