Summary:
The Program Analyst IV will support the Medical Product Safety Branch with analysis and programmatic planning needs with a focus on the support of medication safety analytic activities.
Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions:
- Develop and maintain a summary 2dashboard2 of key metrics for strategic objectives.
- Monitors strategic objectives in partnership efforts and tracking progress towards completing tasks and meeting goals.
- Coordinate with federal and non-federal partners to arrange and develop agendas for standing and ad hoc conference calls and meetings.
- Review documents from federal and other partners for items that might be of relevance to CDC work in healthcare associated infections.
- Coordinate input from partners collaborating on HAIs
- Prepare materials (talking points, presentations, background materials, leave behind documents) for leadership meetings with internal and external audiences
- Works with DHQP leadership on the development of presentations on healthcare associated infections and Novel Coronavirus
- Works with DHQP leadership on the development of CDC print and on-line materials e.g. white papers, fact sheets, journal articles.
- Quarterly deliver training or presentations on CDC work in healthcare associated infections to federal and non-federal partners.
- Attend coordination meetings and team building activities
Qualifications
Necessary Skills and Knowledge:
- Experience with developing an analytic plan
- Experience analyzing large datasets
- Comfort with programming in Python and/or R
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor27s degree in public health, healthcare, communications, or a related field.
- 7 6 years of experience in public health, healthcare programs, or strategic partner engagement.
- Demonstrated experience managing strategic objectives, performance metrics, and executive-level dashboards.
- Experience coordinating with federal, state, and non-federal partners and senior stakeholders.
- Experience developing executive briefings, presentations, talking points, reports, and other communication materials.
- Demonstrated ability to synthesize complex technical or public health information for leadership and external audiences.
- Experience delivering presentations, trainings, and partner briefings on public health or healthcare topics.
- Prior Experience with CDC.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in a related field.
Pay and Benefits
The salary range for this position is $115,000 to $135,000 annually.
