This role drives continuous product improvement through requirements gathering, Agile/Jira-based workflows, and structured post-implementation reviews.

The Program Analyst/Business Analyst is a self-starter, proactive problem-solver, and action-oriented team player with experience supporting complex federal programs. This position requires an individual committed to superior client service, poised under pressure, with a positive and flexible attitude.

This is a contingent hire position.

Offers will be contingent upon client approval, ability to meet security requirements, and the ability to adhere to any on-site requirements (which may change at contract award).

Remote work is anticipated. However, occasional travel for client engagements may be required.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Support release schedule development and coordinate with respective Government teams.
  • Gather customer feedback and translate operational and business needs into clear product requirements.
  • Facilitate integrated planning teams and working groups across workstreams-establishing meeting cadence, identifying action items, and tracking progress (including Steering Committee support).
  • Facilitate and coordinate release planning activities such as outlining tasks, identifying gaps, and tracking solutions needed for a viable release.
  • Conduct Post-Implementation Reviews within two weeks of a production release and document effectiveness, outcomes, and lessons learned.
  • Maintain a program documentation library and track progress against Operational Objectives.
  • Support business process improvement based on stakeholder needs, missions, and operational constraints.
  • Collaborate with internal program leadership on product requirements and problem-solving that impacts stakeholder needs.
  • Contribute to Program Strategy, Release Plan, and Post-Implementation Review Report deliverables.
  • Use Agile/Jira and Confluence workflows to manage requirements, backlog, and release documentation.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years supporting federal program/product management.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Experience with release planning, requirements gathering, and Agile/Jira-based workflows.
  • Experience supporting complex projects and transformation efforts within the federal government.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DHS suitability/public trust determination.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S.

Desired Qualifications

  • Strong critical thinking, analytical and time management skills.
  • Proven ability to organize, prioritize and work well with others.
  • Ability to communicate thoughts, ideas and solutions logically both written and orally.
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to receive feedback from clients and implement changes quickly and effectively.
  • Ability to get up to speed quickly on complex issues.
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment.
