ResponsibilitiesSPA has a near-term need for a
Program Acquisition Support SME. The key duties associated with this role include but are not limited to the following:
- Provide Executive Acquisition Support (EAS) to the MilComm and PNT Directorate, including strategic planning, portfolio integration, and lifecycle acquisition facilitation.
- Develop, review, and staff acquisition documents including strategies, plans, reports, and briefings across the Directorate and up through 2-letter leadership.
- Analyze program baselines, schedules, risks, and funding; recommend actionable alternatives and improvements.
- Support the development and execution of the Directorate's Strategic Plan, Human Capital Plan, and strategic communications products.
- Coordinate and support strategic briefings, speeches, public affairs messaging, and external/internal communications.
- Facilitate governance processes, strategic off-sites, and synchronization with HQ USSF and USAF planning activities.
- Conduct research, analysis, and reporting on technical and programmatic topics; develop decision-quality insights for senior leaders.
- Manage and support task tracking, visit planning, and milestone preparation for high-visibility engagements and leadership events.
QualificationsAbout the Must Haves- Active TS/SCI clearance or the ability to obtain one
- Minimum 15 years of relevant acquisition and strategic planning experience
- Master's degree in a related field from an accredited university
- APDP Level III and PMP certification, or the ability to obtain both
- Experience with Air Force/Space Force acquisition processes and tools (e.g., IMP/IMS, POM planning, DoD 5000 series)
- Reports to designated work location in El Segundo, CA, up to full time, based on the needs of the customer
About the Desired- Prior experience supporting PEO-level organizations or the SSC/CGZ PAG
- Strong written communication skills for high-level briefings and messaging
- Experience with Strategic SATCOM, GPS, or PTES programs
