Job Description:

DePuy Synthes is recruiting for a Professional, Customer Orders, located in Raynham, MA; Raritan, NJ; West Chester, PA; Palm Beach Gardens, FL; OR Warsaw, IN.

This role supports the Customer Orders product area within Commercial Technology by partnering with business stakeholders to deliver reliable, scalable, and user focused technology solutions. The Professional, Customer Orders plays a key role in translating business needs into functional requirements, optimizing order to cash processes, and ensuring technology solutions enable efficient, compliant, and high quality customer experiences. This position offers the opportunity to make a direct impact on commercial execution and operational excellence across DePuy Synthes and reports into the DePuy Synthes Technology organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a liaison between Commercial business partners and IT to analyze, document, and translate customer order management needs into functional and technical requirements.


  • Support the lifecycle of technology products and solutions related to customer orders, including enhancements, defect resolution, testing, and release activities.


  • Lead the application of AI, advanced analytics, and automation to modernize commercial platforms, enhancing customer engagement, pricing and revenue optimization, and data-driven decision-making while driving scalable and compliant commercial execution across sales, marketing, and customer operations.


  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Customer Service, Supply Chain, Finance, and IT) to improve order-to-cash processes and system performance.


  • Analyze business processes and system data to identify gaps, risks, and opportunities for optimization and automation.


  • Participate in system configuration, user acceptance testing (UAT), and validation activities to ensure solutions meet business and compliance requirements.


  • Support incident management and continuous improvement efforts by prioritizing issues, coordinating root-cause analysis, and recommending corrective actions.


  • Contribute to documentation, training materials, and knowledge transfer to support end users and operational teams.


Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's degree required in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or a related field.


  • Advanced degree (e.g., MBA or Master's in Information Systems) preferred.


Experience and Skills

Required:

  • 2-4 years of experience in an IT, technology product, or business systems analyst role supporting commercial or customer-facing processes.


  • Experience with enterprise applications supporting customer orders (e.g., ERP, CRM, order management systems), requirements documentation, and basic data analysis.


  • Proven experience analyzing order-to-cash workflows, gathering stakeholder needs, and translating complex requirements into clear, actionable specifications.


  • Leadership skills demonstrated through influencing without authority, collaborating across functions, and driving alignment between business and IT teams.


  • Experience supporting system testing, validation, and release activities in regulated or quality-focused environments.


  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.


Preferred:

  • Experience working in medical device, life sciences, or other regulated industries.


  • Familiarity with Agile or hybrid delivery methodologies and product-centric ways of working.


  • Advanced technical exposure to integration technologies, reporting tools, or automation solutions supporting customer orders.


  • Demonstrated ability to mentor junior analysts or lead small workstreams within larger initiatives.


  • Experience collaborating with global or regional stakeholders across time zones.


Other:

  • English proficiency required; additional languages are a plus.


  • Travel: Up to 10% domestic travel, as business needs require.


  • Certifications such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, or Agile certifications are preferred but not required.

Additional Description for Pay Transparency:
Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company's consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).
