Full Job Description
Given our continued growth, we have immediate roles available for an experienced and highly motivated Principal Mechanical Engineer to join our Transition to Production, and Product Support team for one of our product families. In this role, you will have a chance to grow your skills as you support the continued production of one of our advanced product lines. You will have the opportunity to work closely with a great team to support cutting-edge hardware fielded on the most advanced Military Platforms.
Activities day to day will vary and may include:
* Working on the Mechanical Engineering team to support various products in the product line
* Independently perform mechanical engineering duties such as drawing reviews, tolerance analyses, and other mechanical analysis.
* Driving product yield and affordability improvements
* Supporting transition to production of new products
* Working in partnership with a cross functional team to ensure on time deliveries of quality products to support the War Fighter.

Required Skills and Education
Mechanical Engineering degree and 4+ years' experience
* Ability to research and apply mechanical engineering principles and theories to solve complex mechanical engineering problems
* Ability to support products through the design process through transition to production
* Ability to multi-task and utilize resources on your team to solve issues in a dynamic environment
* Experience working in a manufacturing environment
* Motivated self-starter with leadership skills and ability to effectively work in a team environment
* Excellent problem solving skills, judgment, and analytical capability
* Ability to close on discrete tasking in a timely manner and lead others to closure - Own the Design
* Experience presenting technical information to program teams and/or customers
Preferred Skills and Education
Active Secret Clearance HIGHLY PREFERRED
* Experience in packaging of electronics
* Experience working with RF systems
