OverviewFDM is seeking a
Production Support Engineer to support critical security and infrastructure platforms within a fast-paced, cybersecurity-focused environment. This role will focus on maintaining, optimizing, and automating endpoint security tools, with a strong emphasis on Microsoft technologies and cloud-based systems.
Key Responsibilities- Provide day-to-day production support for Microsoft Defender for Endpoint (MDE) and related security tools
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve endpoint and system issues in a timely manner
- Develop and maintain PowerShell and dbrun scripts to automate workflows and improve efficiency
- Leverage Ansible for configuration management and deployment automation
- Support systems across Linux environments and integrate with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across security, infrastructure, and engineering
- Follow ITIL best practices for incident, problem, and change management
Required Skills & Experience- Strong experience with Microsoft Defender for Endpoint (MDE)
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting
- Hands-on experience with Ansible
- Solid understanding of endpoint security principles
- Experience supporting Linux systems
- Exposure to Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Familiarity with the ITIL framework
Nice to Have- Experience in large enterprise environments
- Additional scripting (e.g., Python, Bash)
- Broader experience across Microsoft security tools
