Position Description: This role is hybrid and requires you to be at our downtown Toronto office at a minimum 2 days per week - subject to change at any time.
Your future duties and responsibilities:• Expected to do production support of IWS(Integrated Wires Systems) application.
• Handles complex problems independently and demonstrates analytical thinking.
• Understand existing application flow with high accuracy and suggest test plan during migration of the application on newer platform.
• Provide technical support during QA & UAT phases.
• Can prepare production implementation plan and also provide post-implementation support.
• Application Knowledge on BESS would be an added advantage.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:• Fundamental knowledge on HPE OS systems and its hardware
• NonStop Pathway concepts, COBOL, SCOBOL, TAL (good to have)
• FUP, SCUP,DDL, Enform, Enscribe, SQL/MP, Escort (good to have)
• TACL scripting, Netbatch
• Software Configuration Management (SCM) solutions for HPE NonStop servers, such as RMS and Primecode
• MQ, Guardian utilities
• BATCHCOM, setting up calendar jobs
• OSS basics
**CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $80,000-$130,000. This role is an existing vacancy.
