Production Supervisor will report to theProduction Manager. The Production Supervisor will drive a culture of safety and accountability based on corporate metrics. This position will also be responsible to promote and encourage team growth and engagement.
As the Production Supervisor, you will have the opportunity to directly contribute to the efficient and safe production of quality product, satisfying customer demand, while leading team development and participating in continuous improvement initiatives.
Shift Schedule: Monday - Thursday (5 pm - 4 am)

- Proven leadership skills and experience with a focus on leading by example.
- Ensuring the culture, management practices, and work environment encourage a safe, top performing, highly engaged, and diverse workforce.
- Understand company safety regulations and relevant occupational health and safety legislation and ensuring safe work practices are being implemented, followed, and taught with a hands-on leadership approach.
- Understanding machine processes, production administration and associated systems, and quality standards within the plant.
- Implementing and sustaining 5S and LEAN initiatives to maintain efficiency in production.
- Demonstrated problem solving and priority management skills.
- Effective communication with production employees and skilled machine operators.
- Continually and critically monitoring machine center operational effectiveness to reduce waste utilizing Lean tools.
- Proven training skills required to improve production employees and skilled operator knowledge and skills.
- Understanding raw material and labor costing.
- Ability to organize and execute directions in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
- Ensure that customer service is prioritized in the plant operations.
- Providesupervisionofshiftoperationstoensuretheproduction scheduleisexecuted totheplan.

Qualifications:
- Minimumof 2 years previoussupervisoryandsafetytraining experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
- StrongknowledgeofOSHAstandards andcompliance
- Preferencegivento primary orsecondarysolidwoodmanufacturing experience
- Experiencein LEANand/orSixSigmapreferred
- Excellentcommunication,conflictresolution and problem-solvingskills
- Understandingof web-based computer programs andMicrosoftoffice

In adherence to the principle of pay transparency, we are pleased to disclose the base pay for this full-time position at Metrie. The base pay range for this role is set at $80,000 - $100,000 per year. The specific base pay within the range will be contingent upon an individual's skills, experience and qualifications. Furthermore, it is essential to highlight that our remuneration ranges are established based on the role, level, and location.
