The salary range for this position is $80,000 -$97,000 depending on experience, plus bonus opportunity. The deadline to submit applications is initially set for

This is how you WOW:- Review production orders and schedules to ascertain product data such as types, quantities, and specifications of products and scheduled delivery dates to plan department operations.
- Plan department operations, establishing priorities and sequences for completing products.
- Prepare operational schedules and coordinate assembly activities to ensure production and quality of products meet specifications.
- Review operating reports and resolve operational and maintenance problems to ensure minimum costs and prevent operational delays.
- Inspect machines and equipment to ensure specific operational performance and optimum utilization.
- Develop or revise standard operational and working practices and observe workers to ensure compliance with standards.
- Work with Human Resources in resolving grievances.
- Compile, store, and retrieve necessary data.
- Track employee attendance and review weekly schedules.
- Track daily part shortages.
- Attend all required plant meetings.
- Maintain adherence to company policies, safety standards, and good housekeeping practices.
- Assure efficient and economical utilization of materials, improvement of methods, and elimination of wasteful practices within the department.
- Establish accountability and goals used for performance evaluations for each employee.
- Responsible for the on-the-job training, including safety and KPS, of all employees in the department.
- Assist Production Manager with continuous improvement initiatives.
- Interface with other departments to ensure customer order deadlines are met.
- Recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.
- Suggest changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of shop, department, or team
- May be required to lock down plant when instructed.
It would be WOW if you would bring this in:- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 3+ years of related experience is required.
- Must be able to generate creative solutions to problems and be detail-oriented.
- Must be able to communicate clearly and contribute to building a positive team spirit.
- Must be experienced in managing and motivating people.
- Excellent attendance and punctuality required.
