Full Job Description
The 2nd Shift Production Supervisor, located in Richmond (CA), leads a team responsible for manufacturing ultra-precision optical components, ensuring the safe, efficient, and high-quality execution of production operations. This role drives performance across safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and continuous improvement while developing team capability and supporting operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities: Safety, People, Quality, Delivery, Value
  • Lead and supervise daily production activities to achieve safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost objectives.
  • Manage workforce planning, labor allocation, workflow coordination, and shift handoffs to ensure efficient operations and minimal downtime.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (productivity, scrap, downtime, output) and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Coach, develop, and motivate employees through training, cross-training, performance feedback, and accountability processes.
  • Champion a strong safety culture by enforcing safety standards, investigating incidents, identifying hazards, and ensuring regulatory and company compliance.
  • Ensure adherence to quality requirements, operating procedures, and work instructions while resolving process and quality issues.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and 6S principles to improve operational performance.
  • Maintain accurate production records, communicate operational status to leadership, and support audits and cross-functional initiatives.

Required Qualifications:
