Job Description

To help us drive excellence, you'll get to:
  • Supervises, coordinates, and prioritizes activities of Production Supervisors to meet customer, plant and management requirements.
  • Ensures effective use of manpower. Studies production schedules and estimates worker hour requirements for completion of job assignment, keeping overtime to a minimum.
  • Reviews and approves manning plan with Human Resources.
  • Assists in the screening and hiring process of new hires for the operations department.
  • Communicates and leads end of shift and closeout meetings.
  • Ensures that accurate production, quality, and timekeeping records are kept by supervisors.
  • Follows proper chain of command utilizing the downtime matrix.
  • Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production goals.
  • Reviews and inspects orderliness and housekeeping to maintain company standards.
  • Recommends measures to improve production method, equipment performance and quality of product (NCF).
  • Ensures that safety standards are observed and enforced.
  • Train and develop manufacturing management, team leaders, and associate in manufacturing practices and company policies.
  • Ensure fair and consistent administration of all employment policies, rules and practices. Promote the treatment of all associates with dignity and respect.
  • Drive the improvement of safety, quality, housekeeping, teamwork improvement activities, attendance, and administrative procedures


This Full-Time, salary role is a part of our Autokiniton - Belleville 2 team and reports to the Operations Manager.

Required Experience

Education and/or Experience:

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or five years plus related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Technical Skills:

Ability to work with the following software packages or programs:
• Microsoft Office at an intermediate level
• Effective email and electronic communication skills are required

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Business Judgment:

Ability to adhere to all company policies and procedures in a professional and consistent manner. Able to apply common sense understanding and use appropriate judgment in routine business situations with supervisor, co-workers and customers. Maintain a higher standard of professional conduct and ethics in more complex business situations such as negotiations with customers or presentations to management.
