PRODUCTION SCHEDULING SUPERVISOR:

The Production Scheduling team is responsible for developing, monitoring, and fulfilling a Master Schedule to meet production part demands. We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Production Scheduling Supervisor to lead a team of Production Coordinators responsible for the accurate staging, allocation, and packing of aviation hardware kits for customer delivery. This role serves as a critical liaison between Account Managers, Production, Material Management, and Logistics teams to ensure customer demands are met on time. The ideal candidate excels at driving quick escalations, maintaining strong cross-functional communication, and optimizing kit fulfillment processes in a fast-paced aviation production environment. This role allows for direct impact to production success and opportunities to engage with all aspects of the organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Production Coordinators, including performance management, training, and daily guidance.
  • Oversee the end-to-end staging, work allocation, kitting, and packing of aviation hardware kits to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Act as a liaison between Account Managers, Production, Material Management, and Logistics teams to align priorities and quickly resolve issues.
  • Ensure work is correctly allocated and kits are packed according to customer specifications and quality standards.
  • Drive rapid identification and escalation of blockers, material shortages, or production delays to prevent impact on customer delivery dates.
  • Monitor key performance metrics including on-time kit completion, packing accuracy, staging efficiency, and customer fulfillment rates.
  • Collaborate with Material Management and Logistics to maintain accurate inventory levels and coordinate outbound shipments.
  • Continuously improve staging and packing processes, tools, and workflows to increase speed and reduce errors.
  • Lead daily stand-up meetings and provide clear status updates to stakeholders on kit readiness and potential risks.
  • Ensure compliance with aviation regulatory requirements, safety standards, company policies, and export control regulations.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
  • Bachelor's degree; OR 4+ years of professional experience in a manufacturing/production environment.
  • 1+ years of experience leading a team or project.

PREFERRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 3+ years of manufacturing scheduling, planning, or operations.
  • 2+ years of working hands-on with safety-critical systems, mechanical assemblies, or heavy equipment.
  • Experience with medium to high volume manufacturing.
  • Experience with kit staging, packing, and outbound logistics processes.
  • Professional experience with Microsoft Excel, SQL, and similar scheduling software.
  • Ability to work with limited supervision to develop and maintain program schedules.
  • Experience working with an Enterprise Resource Plan (ERP) system.
  • Technical knowledge and skills in coding and computer applications (e.g. MS Office Suite, VBA, Smartsheet, SQL, Python, Confluence, JIRA, Power BI, etc.).
  • Strong track record of implementing continuous improvement efforts, ideally using problem solving frameworks including lean principles, six sigma, or Kaizen concepts.
  • Analytical and organizational skills; able to be diplomatically persuasive or assertive when necessary.
  • Skilled at taking in large quantities of information and presenting it in a clear and concise manner.
  • Experience in integrated master scheduling (IMS) and integrated master plans (IMP).
  • Ability to rapidly change roles/responsibilities while working in a high-paced, challenging work environment.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

Pay range:
Supervisor Production Scheduling: $105,000- $135,000.00/per year.

Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.

Base salary is just one part of your total rewards package at SpaceX.
