  • Manage and oversee daily operations to ensure outputs meet safety, quality, and delivery requirements
  • Drive consistency in production and assembly processes, ensuring builds are completed on-time and according to defined standards and specifications
  • Direct and coordinate Material Requirements Planning (MRP) activities to ensure materials, components, and resources are available to support production schedules
  • Align production and refurbishment plans with demand forecasts, delivery timelines, and inventory strategies
  • Improve performance through increased first-pass yield, reduced rework, and improved cycle time
  • Evaluate and deliver process improvements to increase manufacturing efficiency and assembly scalability

Collaboration:
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to align priorities, develop knowledge base across team, and support team deliverables
  • Provide technical guidance to manufacturing teams, acting as a technical SME, with strong focus on manufacturing processes and quality control
  • Translate field insights into clear design requirements

  • Develop technical guides, frameworks, and defining standards (ranging from drawings to procedures) for design for manufacturing (DFM)

Reliability & Product Performance & Continuous Improvement:
  • Implement and enforce structured problem-solving methodologies across the team (RCA, CAPA)
  • Drive the identification, analysis, and resolution of production and field-related product issues by identifying emerging reliability risks and proactively implement mitigation strategies
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives targeting key performance gaps (quality, reliability, efficiency)
  • Ensure appropriate applications of lean six sigma manufacturing principles to reduce waste and improve process flow
  • Validate that corrective actions result in measurable and sustained improvements

Commercialization/NPI Support:
  • Support the transition of new products, prototypes, and engineering developments into stable and scalable production/refurbishment
  • Define and ensure all designs meet Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Serviceability (DFS) prior to release
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Operations to define manufacturing requirements, build processes, and acceptance criteria for new products
  • Identify and resolve risks associated with commercialization (design gaps, material constraints, process limitations) and implement mitigation strategies
  • Support engineering with pilot builds, initial production runs, assemblies, and validation activities to confirm product readiness for full-scale production

Process, Quality & Compliance:
  • Ensure all activities meet quality standards (including issue logging, mitigation, and resolution)
  • Maintain proper documentation, traceability, and process control across all production activities
  • Ensure adherence to change control processes (ECR/ECO)
  • Implement process controls aligned with industry best practices to reduce variability and improve repeatability
  • Monitor compliance with safety, operational, and quality standards across production environments
  • Support audits, investigations, and reporting related to product quality and manufacturing performance
