You'll have full ownership of field operations, combining leadership with hands-on carpentry and jobsite execution.

Responsibilities• Actively participate in hands-on carpentry work as needed to keep projects moving
• Lead residential remodeling projects through all phases of construction
• Manage and support the field crew in daily production
• Interact professionally with homeowners throughout the project
• Coordinate trade partners to maintain schedule and quality standards
• Develop and manage project schedules using JobTread
• Conduct regular jobsite visits for progress, quality, and safety
• Ensure safety standards and jobsite compliance are met
• Train and mentor carpenters and field staff
• Serve as the primary field leader for production execution
Qualifications• 5+ years of residential construction experience (remodeling preferred)
• Strong hands-on carpentry skills (finish and/or rough framing)
• Field leadership experience (foreman, lead carpenter, or similar role)
• Ability to both lead and work in the field daily
• Strong ability to manage schedules, people, and multiple projects
• Excellent communication with crews and trade partners
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to lead with consistency, accountability, and respect
• Michigan Builder's License preferred or willingness to obtain
