POSITION SUMMARY Salary range $85,000 - $90,000

Production Manager is responsible to lead &manage the production team. The teamconsist of Fillers & Loaders for safely handling and filling gas productsinto liquid, medical and high-pressure gas cylinders in compliance with federal,state, local regulations, and meeting The Company's standard operatingprocedures. This individual is responsible for providing daily feedback andrecommendations to the Hub Plant Manager, Distribution Manager (Counterpart),& Site Manager (Counterpart) on matters of status, issues, andrequirements. This position reports directly to the Hub Plant Manager.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Manage a team ofFillers & Loaders.
Hold Fillersaccountable to fill all gas cylinders, high and low pressure, and liquidcontainers in accordance with safety procedures & quality.
Understands hazards ofvarious gases, size and contents of cylinders by reading and interpretingcylinder labels and the color-coding of tanks. Accurately labels cylinders.
Hold Fillers &Loaders accountable for safe & secured movement of cylinders as required inthe plant & for load and unload of trucks.
Ensures all documentation and forms are incompliance with company policy and FDA requirements during the fill process.Accurately and legibly ensures products are labeled properly, with currentdecals and lot numbers.
Forms include dailyproduction report, FDA log sheet, Label Verification form, Calibration form andBulk log sheet.
Ensure equipment PM'sand calibrations are performed.
Oversee and drive thesafety culture & with allgovernment and company standards relating to the safe handling of hazardousmaterials/cylinder gases.
Identifying productionimprovements for TRW & SIP projects. Maintain a neat, clean and orderlyworkplace through proper housekeeping & 5S procedures.
Monitor and maintainKanbans and manage cylinder & container assets to meet On Time Delivery.
Identify trainingneeds with the team and develop plans for cross training and personaldevelopment with each associate.
Manage by Walk around& Report incidents including accidents, injuries, near misses, unsafe actsor conditions.
Oversee the Helium Trans fill part of thebusiness.

Work Experience
1 - 3 years Demonstratedexperience working in a leadership role

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, andABILITIES
Preferredknowledge/experience in gas, welding and safety supply industry or chemicalindustry preferred.
Minimum one year experience in the gas/weldingindustry as a warehouse worker or a driver.
Excellent customer service skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong level of attention to detail.
Ability to read and comprehend material safetydata sheets.
Ability to work independently and under somepressure to meet deadlines.
Ability to perform math functions and analysisas needed by the position.
Computer Skills-Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point, & the ability to work through theintranet and web links
Must be able to read and write and performmathematical exercises of moderate complexity.
Must be able to work with a wide variety ofpeople with different personalities and backgrounds
Ability to safely operate a forklift.
