A little about the position:
Job Summary
The Production Manager oversees all daily production operations within the fiberglass pool manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for driving safety, quality, efficiency, engagement, and team performance while fostering a strong culture aligned with Latham's Core Values.
Some of What You Will Do:
• Lead and supervise production operations to achieve labor efficiency targets and minimize variance through effective staffing and resource utilization.
• Promote and enforce company safety policies to maintain a safety-first environment across all production areas.
• Ensure consistent product quality through ongoing oversight of manufacturing processes and regular in-process inspections.
• Implement and support training and cross-training programs.
• Manage daily production output to meet schedule requirements and support on-time delivery.
• Apply lean manufacturing principles to identify inefficiencies and drive improvement.
• Prepare and submit performance and progress reports.
• Communicate expectations clearly and support employee performance.
• Conduct performance reviews and disciplinary meetings with employees.
• Track employee time and attendance, approve PTO requests.
• Conduct regular staff meetings.
• ERP system.
o Shipment id created in an on-time manner.
o Work with AR to resolve orders in blocked status.
o Confirmation of delivery date to Dealer base .
o Uploading of documents into systems for compliance regulations.
• Other duties as assigned.
What You Bring to the Table: (Qualifications)
• High School Diploma required; degree preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in manufacturing or engineering.
• Proficiency with Excel, databases, and word processing.
• Payroll system experience is a plus.
• Strong communication skills.
• Lean Manufacturing or 5S experience preferred.
• Knowledge of safety, quality, productivity, inventory, and employee relations.

Salary Range: $66,000 to $105,000/year
