Job Description:

The Manager, Production leads the daily operations of manufacturing by managing schedules, resources, and staff to meet production targets. This role ensures adherence to QSR standards, drives continuous improvement initiatives, and supports cross-functional collaboration for efficient and compliant product delivery and operational excellence.

SECTION 2: DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES*

In accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws/regulations and Corporate Johnson & Johnson, procedures and guidelines, this position:

  • Lead, develop, and coach manufacturing operations staff and supervisors to achieve operational and business objectives
  • Foster a culture of accountability, engagement, continuous improvement, and high performance
  • Drive a proactive safety culture by leading risk identification, near-miss reporting, and corrective action implementation and ensure compliance with all EHS, regulatory, and company requirements.
  • Ensure products are manufactured in accordance with quality standards, company, and regulatory expectations
  • Maintain audit readiness and ensure accurate and compliant documentation.
  • Own and monitor area KPIs and work proactively to improve those KPIs, including but not limited to Safety, Quality, Delivery, cost and inventory.
  • Ensure execution of production plans and reliable on-time product delivery.
  • Lead problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives using Lean principles.
  • Manage staffing, equipment, materials, and budgets to meet operational goals.
  • Identify and implement productivity, efficiency, and cost improvement opportunities.
  • Own capacity planning, inventory management, and business continuity activities.
  • Partner with Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, and other functions to establish a culture of excellence in execution, continuous improvement, and communication within production facilities
  • Support implementation of new products, processes, equipment, and manufacturing technologies.
  • Communicate performance, risks, and improvement opportunities to site leadership.
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

SECTION 3: EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION*

  • BS preferred; equivalent experience considered
  • 6+ years of experience in manufacturing (medical device and cleanroom environment preferred)
  • 3 years of leadership experience preferred

The anticipated base pay range for this position is: $102,000-$177,000.

The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation27s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company27s discretion on an individual basis. Employees and/or eligible dependents may be eligible to participate in the following Company sponsored employee benefit programs: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, business accident insurance, and group legal insurance. Employees may be eligible to participate in the Company27s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401k).This position is eligible to participate in the Company27s long-term incentive program. Employees are eligible for the following time off benefits: Vacation 60 hours per calendar year. Sick time - up to 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington 60 hours per calendar year. Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays 60 days per calendar year. Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year.
