Summary: Our office is growing fast, with 5 install crews and over $2.2M in annual revenue. We are currently booked out 4+ weeks and continuing to grow. We are looking for a Production Manager who will bring structure, accountability, and calm leadership to our install operation. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for scheduling, crew performance, and customer communication from the time a job is sold through completion.

Position OverviewThe Production Manager owns the installation calendar, field operations, and the customer experience after the sale.
You will manage 5 install crews, coordinate daily schedules, communicate with customers regarding install timing and job expectations, and ensure projects are completed efficiently and professionally.
This role requires strong attention to detail, decisive leadership, and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
Key ResponsibilitiesProduction & Scheduling- Own and manage the installation schedule for 5 crews
- Plan daily and weekly job flow to maximize efficiency
- Adjust schedule for weather, call-outs, and job changes
- Coordinate material readiness and job sequencing
- Ensure backlog stays controlled and predictable
Crew Leadership- Manage and hold accountable 5 installation crews
- Enforce job standards, safety, and quality expectations
- Address performance issues directly and professionally
- Reduce field conflict and maintain productive culture
Customer Communication (Post-Sale)- Serve as primary contact for customers from sale to completion
- Confirm install timelines and expectations
- Proactively communicate delays or schedule changes
- Resolve job concerns calmly and professionally
- Protect company reputation through clear communication
Quality & Process- Conduct job reviews and spot quality checks
- Improve production systems and workflows
- Identify recurring issues and implement process improvements
- Work closely with Sales to ensure clean handoffs

- Sales-to-production handoffs are smooth

Qualifications- Experience managing field teams or logistics operations
- Strong organizational and scheduling ability
- Comfortable making decisions and enforcing standards
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Calm under pressure
- High attention to detail
- Comfortable using technology and scheduling software
Experience in home services or construction is preferred but not required if leadership and logistics skills are strong.
