Production Engineering Manager
Position Responsibilities:- Promotes and maintains a safe and healthy work environment
- Manages employees performing engineering and technical activities in Production Engineering
- Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals
- Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements
- Develops and maintains relationships with operations/quality teams and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
- Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.
- Manages, develops and motivates employees
- Potentially provides higher Material Review Board (MRB) oversight
- Interfaces with Operations, Quality, Engineering, airline representatives, regulatory agencies and suppliers/partners to resolve issues impacting aircraft build, test and delivery
- Staff and direct a technical team in establishing team goals
- Monitors group performance against program and functional commitments while developing technical employees within the team
- Position will require weekend and off shift support as necessary

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
- 5+ years of relevant work experience
- Candidates must have at least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR have completed the Boeing internal course "Exploring Leadership
- Willing to work second shift, weekends and holidays if required
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):- 5+ years of experience in the following: aircraft production, ground operations and/or flight-line operations
- 3+ years of experience managing and/or leading a team either formally or informally, with the ability to provide guidance, mentorship, and support to team members
- 1+ years of experience in Material Review Board processes
- Experience in leading or managing teams
- Experience working with cross-functional teams

Summary Pay Range: $141,100 - $190,900
