Production Control Manufacturing Manager
Position Responsibilities:
·Manages and oversee the development of the production schedule/shop load (2-3 week look ahead) for BDS Huntsville - SIWS & IAMD programs, (including re-entry of non-conforming product on NCRs, ensuring quality and workforce adherence
·Manage production control team for the Seeker factory using KPI's
·Monitor each line or sub-assembly area production plans and actuals to ensure optimal line balancing, WIP control, and elimination of over production
·Work with QA and production to ensure quality parts and that all ISO standards are met in compliance with the customer
·Manage employees performing activities in multiple manufacturing disciplines
·Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures, while developing organizational and technical strategies
·Acquires resources, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements
·Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
·Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
·Manages, develops and motivates employees
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. A final post-start U.S. Secret clearance is required.Special Program Access or other Government Access Requirements are mandatory for this position.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
·Experience in Project Management or Production Control
·Experience leading projects and/or teams
·More than 7 years working in a manufacturing environment or equivalent industry
·Familiarity with ERP Business systems and Microsoft suite applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
·Experience using Lean+ and/or Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) tools
·Experience developing and executing strategies to meet organization objectives
·Experience implementing lean methodologies and productivity improvements
·Experience in developing solutions to a wide range of complex technical problems, requiring ingenuity and innovation
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
·Bachelor’s degree or higher
·Experience in the Aerospace & Defense Industry and/or the military
·Active Secret Security Clearance
·PMP and other Program Management certifications
