The Program Product Support Specialist is a key member of the support team and will provide enhanced asset management and material tracking. The selected candidate will provide accurate accounting of equipment pedigree and status for program/government assets in production in advance of customer delivery, while in the field, and when returned for repair, maintenance, or upgrade as items are moved between locations or facilities. Accounting includes manual inventory, electronic tracking and management to maintain and provide asset visibility and reporting on the movement of items from source to destination to each member of the program/customer team. The candidate will be supporting internal and external audits as well as interacting with the Government Property team to ensure assets are tagged appropriately.
Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time

Required Skills and Education- Must be eligible to obtain a SECRET clearance
- At least 4+ years applicable experience
- Experience in using property databases for tracking assets and to make inquiries for collecting and reporting data in accordance with Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation (DFAR) requirements.
- Experience managing and tracking Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) / Contractor Acquired Property (CAP) to/from various locations following company policies and program plans/procedures
- Capacity to document metrics, lessons learned, and obtain/retain metrics for use in determining future support population requirements.
Preferred Skills and Education- An active Secret clearance is strongly preferred
- Some college education preferred
- Understanding of US government databases such as Wide Area Workflow (WAWF), Item Unique Identification (IUID) registry
- Experience with Internal databases and tools including YORK, DATAVIEW, Paperless, Oracle, eAM reporting, PLM, IPORTAL and ISTAR
- Experience with formal data reporting and inventory requirements in support of contract close-out activities
- May be required to lift up to 40lbs. walking, standing and bending and sitting for long periods of time is also required
- Some travel may be required
