What you'll do

In this role, you will work cross-functionally within our group and across Stripe's technical and user-facing teams to solve problems that benefit our users.
Responsibilities
  • Work on cross-cutting company strategy projects and collaborate with teams to implement changes
  • Partner directly with senior leaders and cross functional teams to accelerate progress, solve hard scaling initiatives, and incubate new programs
  • Drive analysis and research to help inform our overall strategy and make the right growth decisions for global products
  • Help shape the product roadmap for the Global Product business through robust gathering of competitive intelligence, user insights, and data analysis.
  • Advise Product, Engineering, GTM & cross-functional leadership teams on where resources should be deployed to maximize long-term strategic value.
  • Partner with Finance to drive planning processes, including investment decisions, strategy updates, operational plans, and OKRs.
  • Maintain a pulse on the financial health of the Global business, highlighting key metrics and trends and developing action plans to drive improvements.

Minimum requirements
  • 7+ years of experience in a strategy, business operations, or highly analytical role at a technology company, or similar experience in management consulting.
  • Ability to add structure and clarity to ambiguous, open-ended problems, and distill complex findings into clear, concise, and actionable recommendations.
  • Ability to understand complex, technical products and articulate their value to non-technical audiences.
  • Experience leading complex, cross-functional projects with multiple functional stakeholders.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills, demonstrated by a track record of driving alignment and complex decisions with senior cross-functional leaders.
  • Experience working directly with Product and Engineering teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in influence-without-authority environments and contexts with a high degree of ambiguity.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, with a proven ability to work effectively with multiple, cross-functional stakeholders, including users.
  • A "can do" attitude, comfort with ambiguity, and ability to juggle multiple priorities simultaneously.
Preferred qualifications
  • Experience working in a fintech or payments-focused technology company.
  • Experience working on market entry strategies for businesses expanding globally.
  • Experience working with SQL and using data to identify trends, generate insights and solve problems.
  • A track record of bringing new products to market and demonstrated ability to drive projects to completion with a high bar for quality.
  • Familiarity with financial reporting, P&L management, or business forecasting.
  • Experience in leveraging Generative AI tools to enhance analysis or improve operational processes.
