This is a field position based out of Portland, Mexico or Bangor, Maine.

Your Responsibilities

As a Product Specialist based near Portland, Mexico, or Bangor, ME, you will:

  • Leads initiatives on specific products to provide expert development, delivery and resolution to product support and marketing activities
  • Develop product strategy, processes and programs to meet requirements for channel partners, end user customers and company personnel
  • Provide market feedback to product development (activities may apply to operational, technical, parts or sales aspects of the products)
  • Develop others through coaching, mentoring and may provide supervision, work direction and conduct performance appraisals

  • Strong technical background in heavy equipment repair
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, electrical, and computer-controlled systems, as well as be able to program and calibrate computer-controlled operating and measuring systems
  • Experience with forestry cut-to-length machinery and applications
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 75% within assigned territory


What Makes You Standout

  • Having a background as a forestry heavy equipment technician, particularly with Waratah product experience
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with customers and equipment dealers


Education

Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Associate's degree in Diesel Mechanics or Heavy Equipment Technology would be preferred
