The primary role of the Product Specialist – Envestnet is driving sales growth with Envestnet firms. This is achieved by:
Providing sales support to the Head of Envestnet Retail Sales to raise CANVAS® assets with Envestnet firms.
Partnering with the Franklin Templeton generalist sales team that sell to advisors using the Envestnet platform to generate CANVAS® sales.
Being an expert on direct indexing and custom indexing.
Effectively collaborating with other members of the OSAM Client Service, Portfolio Management, Operations, Tech and Relationship Management teams.
Support and work closely with Head of Envestnet Retail Sales to promote CANVAS®.
Educate and promote CANVAS® throughout Franklin Templeton internal sales teams and partner firms.
Develop an in-depth understanding of CANVAS® workflows and work closely with Client Service on a daily basis.
Educate Franklin Templeton sales teams, clients and prospects on the value of Custom/Direct Indexing and key differentiators offered by CANVAS®.
Develop new advisor relationships and retain and deepen existing relationships.
Demonstrate the ability to be a utility player able to flex between operations, analysis, and client facing activities.
Take ownership of follow-up communication.
Work with resources/teams to prepare home office and advisor-specific marketing and education collateral based on internal and external requests.
Work with other internal teams to manage ongoing account onboarding and service requests in a timely manner.
Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of industry and financial advisor practices.
Ability to articulate the value of custom/direct indexing and become a true partner to financial advisor clients.
EXPERIENCE
Approximately 3 - 5 years of experience of direct indexing sales, asset management or investment management experience.
Current Series 66 license or ability to obtain one.
Experience working with a turnkey asset management platform/program (TAMP).
Basic understanding of equity investment landscape, portfolio management, financial planning and investment vehicles.
Experience working with financial advisors.

This role can be based out of Stamford (CT), Boston (MA), Saint Petersburg (FL), or New York City (NY).

There are several factors taken into consideration in making compensation decisions including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. At Franklin Templeton, we apply a total reward philosophy where all aspects of compensation and benefits are taken into consideration in determining compensation. We expect the salary for this position to range between $105,000 – $145,000 per year depending on location plus bonus opportunity.
