Job Description

This position is responsible forrepresenting the top volume driven product lines as a commercial outside salesperson. This position will be responsible for specific product line sales in the West Division. Will work closely with the product team.

Qualifications

Essential Functions
  1. Learn and represent the top 10 product lines, with a major focus on Attenuators, and Waterwall
  2. Stay abreast of trends to ensure competitive position
  3. Meet and liaison with District Caltrans Safety Engineers to determine product's future direction
  4. Meet and liaison with Headquarters Personnel to guide new product approval processes
  5. Introducing new products to customers
  6. Mediate problems and answer questions
  7. Assist other vendors
  8. Get involved in organizations that promote highway safety
  9. Provide in-house training as needed
  10. Ability to travel up to 50%

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Other Characteristics
  1. Knowledge of equipment, materials and supplies used in heavy/highway construction work
  2. Some knowledge of first aid and applicable safety precautions
  3. Organized and self-motivated
  4. Bachelor's degree preferred
