SUMMARY
The Product Safety Engineer is responsible for supporting product safety efforts across the full product lifecycle, including design, manufacturing, and post-market activities for Copeland’s compression technologies and controls solutions.
The Product Safety Engineer participates in identifying and mitigating product safety risks and works cross-functionally with Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Legal, and Compliance teams to embed safety into product design and execution. The Product Safety Engineer also drives continuity and follow through of product safety activities such as incident investigation, corrective actions, risk assessments, and continuous improvement of product safety processes.
The Product Safety Engineer supports the Product Safety Officer in executing product safety strategy and activities, while reporting directly to the Regulatory Compliance Manager.
