Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Product Manager/Product Owner with deep expertise in Cards and Payments within the Banking and Financial Services industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for defining product vision, managing product roadmaps, and delivering innovative card and payment solutions that enhance customer experience and drive business growth.

The candidate should possess strong domain knowledge across Credit Cards, Debit Cards, Payment Processing, Digital Payments, Card Lifecycle Management, and Banking Operations. This role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, engineering teams, risk and compliance groups, and external payment partners.

Key Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Roadmap
  • Define and execute the product strategy, vision, and roadmap for Cards and Payments products.
  • Drive product innovation and digital transformation initiatives within the banking ecosystem.
  • Gather customer, business, and market requirements to identify new product opportunities.
  • Prioritize product features and enhancements based on business value and customer needs.
  • Manage the end-to-end product lifecycle from ideation through implementation and production support.


Stakeholder Management
  • Work closely with Business, Technology, Operations, Risk, Compliance, and Vendor teams.
  • Translate business requirements into user stories and functional specifications.
  • Own and prioritize the product backlog.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies and ensure successful sprint execution.


Risk & Compliance
  • Ensure compliance with banking regulations and industry standards.
  • Partner with Risk and Compliance teams on product controls and governance.
  • Support audit, regulatory, and security requirements.


Required Skills & Experience
  • 5+ years of Product Management or Product Ownership experience.
  • Strong Banking and Financial Services domain experience.
  • Hands-on experience with Cards and Payments products.
  • Experience working with Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies.
  • Strong understanding of product lifecycle management.
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Cards

Credit Cards, Debit Cards, Card Issuing, Card Servicing, Card Processing, Rewards and Loyalty Programs, Card Activation, Chargebacks and Disputes, Fraud Prevention

Payments

Payment Processing, Payment Gateways, Merchant Payments, Digital Payments, ACH, Wire Transfers, Real-Time Payments (RTP), Mobile Wallets, Contactless Payments, Tokenization

Technical Knowledge

API Management, REST APIs, Open API Specifications, Postman, Payment Integrations, SQL (Preferred), Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps

Preferred Experience
  • Experience with Visa, Mastercard, American Express, or Discover ecosystems.
  • Exposure to card processors such as Fiserv, TSYS, FIS, First Data, or Global Payments.
  • Knowledge of PCI-DSS compliance.
  • Experience with Fraud Detection and Risk Management platforms.
  • Exposure to Open Banking and Banking-as-a-Service (BaaS) initiatives.


Education

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
