The Opportunity: As a Product Owner, you will be accountable for maximizing the value of a product, journey, or set of cross-cutting capabilities by making strategic decisions about what to build, when to build it, and how to continuously deliver value for clients, users, and the organization. You will own the product vision, roadmap, backlog, and stakeholder alignment while balancing business and technology priorities to achieve measurable outcomes, strong client experiences, and financial success. This role requires a strategic thinker who can translate client needs and organizational goals into actionable delivery plans, while fostering collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement across cross-functional teams.
Work Arrangements: This is a hybrid role. You will work in our office in Waterloo, ON a minimum of two (2) assigned, consecutive days every other week, plus a fifth (5th) assigned day per month. You are welcome to work from the office more than the minimum requirement, and there may be some roles that are required to work in our office more than the minimum requirement.
What you'll do:- Own and drive product management decisions that align business and technology strategies, with a focus on maximizing product value, client satisfaction, and organizational outcomes.
- Define, maintain, and communicate a compelling product vision, roadmap, and North Star experience that guides product investments and future development.
- Develop and manage the product backlog by clearly defining, prioritizing, and refining backlog items to ensure each increment delivers meaningful value.
- Establish and maintain stakeholder alignment by facilitating discussions, managing expectations, communicating product progress, and incorporating feedback into product priorities.
- Lead roadmap development, define Minimum Viable Products (MVPs), and create iterative release plans that continuously test hypotheses and validate value in the market.
- Act as the voice of the client by conducting research, developing personas, empathy maps, journey maps, and feedback loops to ensure product decisions are client-centered.
- Monitor product health, performance, ROI, total cost of ownership, financial targets, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure successful product lifecycle management.
- Oversee product governance, operational risk management, backlog transparency, forecasting, and stakeholder communications while ensuring established processes and procedures are followed.

- Demonstrated ability to create and execute product visions, roadmaps, personas, vision boards, journey maps, empathy maps, and strategic plans that drive value creation.
- Experience defining capabilities and managing the full product lifecycle, including financial performance, ROI, total cost of ownership, system health, scalability, and value delivery.
- Proven ability to collaborate with development teams and stakeholders to identify, prioritize, and deliver solutions that achieve business outcomes and customer value.
- Exceptional stakeholder management, influencing, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to align diverse perspectives and make decisive product decisions.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to navigate ambiguity, manage complexity, and translate strategy into incremental delivery plans.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including persuasive presentations, clear and concise writing, active listening, coaching, relationship building, and political judgment.
- Demonstrated accountability, initiative, adaptability, sound governance practices, and the ability to confidently escalate concerns, manage competing priorities, and deliver measurable outcomes.

Your base pay will be based on your skills, qualifications, experience and education. In addition to your salary, this role is eligible for a discretionary annual incentive award tied to business performance, plus a wide range of competitive benefits.
