Full Job Description
About the role

We're hiring a Product Operations Manager to own how well our product actually recovers money for customers - and to make sure everything we learn from that work flows back into a better product.

This is a role for someone who is equal parts operator and analyst. You'll live in the data behind shortage deductions and recovery, track whether we're winning the dollars we should be, dig into why we're not when we're not, and translate those findings into clear insights for customers and concrete product gaps for our team to close. You sit at the seam between our customers, our operations, and our product and engineering teams - and you're the person who makes sure that recovery outcomes and product quality keep improving together.

If you like turning messy operational reality into clean signal, and you want that signal to directly shape an AI product that's redefining an industry, this is a great fit.

What you'll do
  • Own recovery tracking and outcomes. Monitor the full deduction-to-recovery pipeline across accounts - shortage and other deduction types - and keep a close eye on the metrics that matter: recovery rate, dispute win rate, deductions as a percentage of revenue, time to resolution, and revenue at risk from approaching dispute windows. You'll know, at any moment, how much money is on the table and how well we're capturing it.
  • Turn data into insight. Get deep into recovery and deduction data to find patterns - which retailers, deduction reasons, or claim types are underperforming, where valid disputes are slipping through dispute windows, and where the biggest recovery opportunities sit. Build the dashboards, reporting, and quantified narratives that make those findings obvious to customers and to the team.
  • Close the loop back to product. Be the voice of what's actually happening in production. Identify gaps in how our agents classify deductions, match backup documentation, and queue disputes - then translate those gaps into prioritized, well-scoped product requirements. Partner with product and engineering to see improvements through and confirm they move the numbers.
  • Sharpen the operational playbook. Standardize and document how recovery work gets done - the workflows, exception handling, and quality checks that keep agent output accurate and customers confident. Spot the manual, repetitive steps that should be automated next.
  • Be a trusted partner to enterprise customers and internal teams. Our customers are large, enterprise CPG brands with high-volume, high-stakes deduction activity. Work alongside our customer-facing teams to explain recovery performance to these accounts, answer "why did this happen," and set expectations with senior stakeholders. Bring the operational reality of our enterprise accounts back into planning conversations with product, engineering, and leadership.

What we're looking for
  • 4+ years in product operations, revenue operations, strategy/consulting, analytics, program management, or a comparable data-heavy operational role.
  • Genuinely strong with data - comfortable pulling, cleaning, and analyzing it yourself (SQL and/or advanced spreadsheets required; BI tools a plus), and able to turn analysis into a clear recommendation.
  • A track record of finding the "why" behind the numbers and turning it into action, not just reporting it.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication - you can make a complex recovery story simple for a customer and precise for an engineer.
  • Highly organized and self-directed; you thrive in an early, fast-moving environment where the process often doesn't exist yet.
  • Comfortable working across customers, operations, product, and engineering, and translating fluently between them.
Nice to have:
  • Experience in CPG, retail, supply chain, deductions/chargebacks, accounts receivable, or fintech/revenue recovery.
  • Familiarity with deduction and dispute workflows - backup documentation (bill of lading, proof of delivery, packing slips), dispute windows, and write-offs.
  • Exposure to AI/ML products or human-in-the-loop operations.
  • You've been an early operational hire before and helped build a function from scratch.

WHY JOIN GLIMPSE

You'll join a company that has found genuine product-market fit and is scaling fast - with the infrastructure, capital, and team to match. Your work will directly shape how hundreds of CPG brands run their back office. And you'll have real ownership: of your accounts, your outcomes, and the AM function itself as we build it from the ground up.
  • Competitive salary with meaningful equity
  • In-person team in NYC - high ownership, fast feedback loops
  • Direct impact on a company growing at an exceptional pace
  • A front-row seat to building the operating system for CPG brands
