Full Job Description
The Role:

We are looking for a Product Marketing Manager to own Chorus, the platform underneath every Ambience product across care settings. This PMM owns how Chorus shows up in the market: product- and suite-level positioning and messaging, launch governance, competitive and market intelligence, and the feedback loop between field signal and product strategy. The role sits deeper in the stack than a typical PMM seat. You need to understand how the platform works, not just how it's positioned.

Reporting directly to our Head of Marketing and working closely with our Product team, this is a high-visibility individual contributor role on a small but senior product marketing team, with real scope and room to grow as the team and function scale.

What You'll Do:
• Own positioning and messaging for Chorus at the product and suite level, with sign-off authority over product claims and roadmap representations before they reach the market. Your messaging ladders up to the company narrative owned by Comms.
• Run launch governance across the product roadmap: triage and tier every release, decide what gets external amplification and what stays as internal enablement, and ensure the field is trained before anything goes live - against a PM org that ships fast.
• Build the competitive and market intelligence function for Chorus, sourcing from sales, account management, CRM, and call recordings, and feeding insight back into product and messaging decisions.
• Maintain battlecards that sellers actually use and refresh them fast. Know what competitors say about themselves versus what they deliver, and keep the sales team ahead of it.
• Own campaigns tied to product launches and platform milestones end to end: set the narrative, define goals, and coordinate across Sales Enablement, Comms, Growth, and Events.
• Step into other product areas and care settings as the platform grows - including new products built on Chorus and coverage across the PMM team when needed.

Who You Are:
• 7-10+ years of B2B product marketing experience, ideally with meaningful time marketing technical infrastructure or platforms (data infrastructure, cloud platforms, AI/ML tooling).
• Experience owning product-level positioning and messaging within a broader company narrative. You know how to make the product story land without drifting from the top-level message.
• Track record of running launch governance in a fast-shipping product environment - triaging, tiering, and deciding what gets external amplification and what doesn't.
• Strong market and competitive acumen, with experience maintaining battlecards that sales actually uses - sourced from win/loss data and customer perception, and refreshed fast enough to stay ahead of competitor moves.
• Track record of feeding field intelligence back into product and positioning decisions, sourced directly from sales, CRM, and customer conversations.
• Experience owning product-associated campaigns end to end - narrative, goals, and cross-functional coordination across enablement, comms, growth, and events.

Nice to Have:
• Strong healthcare or health-system domain experience, including familiarity with the EHR ecosystem, clinical vs. financial buyer personas, and the health system purchasing process.
• Experience marketing a platform that supports multiple product lines or care settings.
• Some startup or high-growth experience where the role and the processes weren't fully defined when you got there.

Life at Ambience

Working at Ambience means opting into a high-ownership, high-trust environment built for people who want to grow fast, operate decisively and focus on work that matters. This could be the right place for you if you want to
  • Work on mission-critical AI technology that directly improves clinicians' day-to-day lives and health system financial health across some of the most complex, high-stakes workflows in the world.
  • Join a "dream team" culture where we hire exceptional people, expect exceptional outcomes and invest deeply in feedback and continuous growth. We operate as a championship team, and that means being ok with hard, uncomfortable, ambiguous problems that lead to real greatness.
  • Operate with real ownership and accountability in an environment where there are no bystanders: If something is broken, we fix it! You will have meaningful autonomy and be expected to drive work to completion.

To help you do your best work, we pair these expectations with benefits intentionally designed to help you feel supported and safe at Ambience and beyond. Some of our key benefits include
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage for you and your dependents
  • 401(k) with a company match of up to 3% of base salary
  • A remote-friendly culture (with a San Francisco HQ) and full equipment provisioning to ensure you can work effectively from wherever you're based.
  • Parental leave to support your family needs
  • Annual company-wide off-sites, team off-sites and regular team lunches and all-hands gatherings, with travel, lodging and meals covered
  • Flexible time off with no annual cap, company-wide holidays and an annual holiday shutdown from December 24-January 1 designed to support real rest and long-term sustainability.
