Full Job Description
About the role

We're looking for a Product Marketing Manager to lead go-to-market strategy and execution for a portfolio within Brio's residential and commercial water business - dispensers, ice machines, and filtration systems. You'll own product positioning, messaging, and launch execution from early product development through post-launch performance, translating engineering and design decisions into a go-to-market plan that resonates with consumers, channel partners, and buyers. This role sits at the center of product development, creative, channel, operations, and sales, and reports to the Director of Product Marketing.

What you'll do

  • Own go-to-market for one or more product lines, from pre-launch planning through launch day and post-launch performance.
  • Develop launch plans that align product, engineering, design, communications, channel, and sales around a single narrative and timeline.
  • Craft positioning and messaging that differentiates the product against competitors and translates technical capabilities into consumer benefits.
  • Own the consumables business - drive replacement filter attach rate, auto-replenishment/subscription enrollment, and repeat-purchase revenue across DTC and retail.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering early in the roadmap process to shape feature prioritization based on market and customer insight.
  • Support pricing with competitive and market analysis in partnership with Finance and Sales; final pricing decisions are owned by leadership.
  • Build the launch narrative and toolkits - briefing documents, sales enablement materials, channel assets, and spokesperson talking points across ecommerce, retail, and wholesale channels.
  • Own on-pack messaging, claims hierarchy, and the out-of-box experience in partnership with Product, Creative, and Legal.
  • Manage cross-functional launch execution, coordinating with PR/Comms, Creative, Retail Marketing, and Sales to drive on-time, focused execution.
  • Own digital shelf performance - Amazon A+ content, listing and search optimization, ratings and reviews health, and retailer .com content across partner sites.
  • Analyze post-launch performance (sales velocity, reviews, share of voice, customer sentiment) and feed insights back into future product and marketing decisions.
  • Represent the voice of the customer in internal product discussions, using research, reviews, and support data to advocate for improvements.
  • Adapt positioning and enablement for the commercial segment, supporting distributor, wholesale, and B2B sales alongside consumer retail.
  • Manage external partners and agencies as needed for research, creative, or launch support.

Qualifications

  • 5-8 years of product marketing experience, with a track record of leading go-to-market for physical/hardware products (consumer electronics strongly preferred).
  • Experience managing complex, cross-functional product launches with hard external deadlines (retail line reviews and shelf reset windows, NSF/WQA certification testing, press embargoes).
  • Strong narrative and messaging instincts - able to translate technical specs into compelling consumer value.
  • Experience partnering with big-box, club, and ecommerce retailers (Home Depot, Lowe's, Costco, Amazon) and wholesale distributors.
  • Data fluency - comfortable using sales, review, and market-share data to make and defend decisions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; experience briefing executives and external spokespeople.
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA a plus but not required.
