Product Marketing Manager

Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 (plus benefits and vacation)
Department: Marketing
Reports To: VP of Marketing
Location: Hybrid
Role Type: Full-Time

Role Overview:

We are seeking a hands-on Product Marketing Manager to lead product positioning, customer lifecycle messaging, and feature launch content for our software platform. Reporting to the VP of Marketing, you will partner closely with Marketing and Product leadership to establish and maintain clear, accurate messaging across the organization, ensuring teams including Sales, Enablement, Marketing Operations, and Support are aligned on how we communicate product value to customers.

You will combine strong product marketing judgment with AI-assisted content workflows to develop and refine lifecycle emails, launch content, and competitive intelligence efficiently and at scale. Using established messaging frameworks and evaluation tools, you will ensure every asset is accurate, compelling, consistent with our brand voice, and built to support customer engagement and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Lifecycle Product Messaging & Email Communications
  • Lead positioning and ensure the quality of customer-facing product communications, including major feature announcements, monthly "What's New" digests, integration announcements, and beta invitations.
  • Guide AI-assisted development of trigger-based lifecycle email copy for onboarding, feature adoption, and cross-sell/upsell initiatives, using established evaluator tools to ensure content meets brand and conversion standards before handoff to Marketing Operations.

Product Launches & Release Assets
  • Develop marketing and enablement assets for feature launches, integrations, and sprint releases, including release notes, feature web copy, talk tracks, and objection-handling materials.
  • Write scripts for launch and product videos, and capture screen recordings, UI walkthroughs, and screenshots for handoff to video production.

Feature Copywriting & Web Assets
  • Create benefit-led landing page copy, product announcement pages, and website updates that support new feature launches and platform enhancements.

Competitive Intelligence & Battle Cards
  • Keep competitive battle cards, feature comparison matrices, and talk tracks current, equipping revenue and enablement teams with timely, actionable market intelligence.

Messaging Governance & Frameworks
  • Serve as a steward of the organization-wide source of truth for product and feature positioning, developed in partnership with the VP of Marketing and Product.
  • Develop and continuously refine master messaging frameworks and use-case documentation for major features and integrations.
  • Define messaging and positioning within Project Charters in partnership with Product Management.
  • Build and maintain internal AI knowledge repositories, including Confluence, Claude Projects, and prompt libraries, to keep feature details, technical specifications, and persona-specific value propositions accurate and accessible across downstream teams, including Enablement and University content development.

Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in B2B SaaS product marketing, technical content marketing, customer lifecycle marketing, or a related field.
  • Editorial Judgment & Copywriting: Strong short-form copywriting and editorial instincts, with demonstrated ability to guide, edit, and quality-check AI-assisted content for brand voice, clarity, and conversion effectiveness.
  • Product Content Capture: Comfortable capturing clear screen recordings, UI walkthroughs, and screenshots for handoff to video production, with experience writing scripts for short-form product videos.
  • AI-Assisted Content Tools: Familiarity with AI-powered tools that transform raw screen recordings or product content into polished walkthroughs, tutorials, or documentation.
  • AI Workflow Experience: Hands-on experience using AI within marketing workflows, including prompt development, content evaluation, and AI-assisted content production.
  • Self-Starter Mindset: Highly organized and proactive, with strong project management skills and the ability to drive positioning and messaging initiatives from concept through completion with minimal oversight.

Please note that only those selected for an interview will be contacted.

We appreciate you taking the time and look forward to reviewing your application!
