Who You’ll Be Joining
You’ll join ecobee’s Brand and Product Marketing team as a senior individual contributor with broad, cross‑functional impact. As a Product Marketing Lead, you will be the strategic owner of go‑to‑market execution and growth initiatives for ecobee’s ecosystem solutions with focus on ecobee’s security offering.
This role does not have direct reports, but it carries executive‑level influence. You will partner closely with Product, Sales, and Marketing to ensure strategy translates into clear, compelling, and commercially impactful execution in the market.
This is a role for an experienced product marketer who can operate comfortably at both the strategic and executional levels, and who thrives on driving growth through influence rather than authority.
How You’ll Make an Impact
Own end‑to‑end go‑to‑market execution, including launch readiness, GTM sign‑off, and market delivery across products and services.
Translate product and portfolio positioning and storytelling into clear consumer messaging, and launch plans across all customer and sales channels.
Serve as the single point of accountability for launch quality, timing, and consistency across marketing, sales, and customer touchpoints.
Lead growth initiatives across acquisition, adoption, expansion, and retention to drive revenue, ARPU, and customer lifetime value.
Partner with Product, Marketing and Sales to shape growth hypotheses, prioritize initiatives, and drive execution.
Track, analyze, and communicate the impact of growth initiatives, surfacing insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
Own marketing channel orchestration, ensuring aligned channel plans, compelling narratives, and sales readiness with sales teams.
Operate as a senior cross‑functional leader without authority, driving alignment, clarity, and momentum across Product, Sales, and Marketing.
What You’ll Bring to the Table
8+ years in product marketing; ideally in a subscription-based or connected hardware environment.
Proven track record of crafting and executing go-to-market strategies that deliver measurable business results.
Deep experience in developing customer-facing positioning and messaging rooted in research and insight.
Strong analytical and performance mindset, with the ability to measure impact and drive continuous improvement.
Exceptionally strong ability to influence and collaborate across teams and at all levels of the organization.
Clear communicator and persuasive storyteller who can rally teams around ideas and initiatives.
Comfort operating in ambiguity and taking initiative to drive clarity and progress.
Curious, forward-thinking, and always looking for new ways to deliver value to customers and the business.
